Dagr is our easy-drinking, all-day coffee: a medium roast blend of washed and natural coffees from Central and South America.

Medium-bodied, balanced and gently sweet, with notes of hazelnut, dark chocolate and muscovado sugar. There’s enough brightness to keep it interesting, without pushing into anything sharp or overly acidic.

When I’m working, whether at my desk or at the roaster, I want a mug of coffee beside me throughout the day. It needs to be bright enough to stay interesting, but not hard work. Balanced, flavourful and sweet, but never sickly. It should taste like coffee, just on a really good day.

Dagr exists for the days when you want really good coffee without making coffee the main event. Something dependable, balanced and interesting enough to keep coming back to, cup after cup.

As a filter coffee, it makes a lovely pot to share with a couple of guests, custard creams strongly encouraged, or a balanced V60 for a quiet Sunday morning, some vinyl and rain against the window.

As an espresso, it’s smooth, balanced and sweet enough to enjoy on its own. Add milk and it makes a mild, mellow and creamy cappuccino or latte rather than something heavy or aggressive.
