The result is decaf with sweetness, clarity and complexity, rather than the flat or bitter flavours traditionally associated with decaffeinated coffee.
How Our Coffee Is Decaffeinated
Our current decaf coffees use the Sugarcane process, a gentle method which uses ethyl acetate derived from fermented sugarcane to remove caffeine while preserving the character of the coffee.
The coffees are assessed after processing before we select them for roasting.
